I noted earlier that I made a mistake by Aloding the HS spars before countersinking. I touched up the countersink bores with Alodine and a Q-Tip which seemed to do the trick. I riveted the HS Front Spar to the Front Spar Doubler using the correct size rivets as shown in Drawing 3. I still need more practice as I had to drill out and replace several of the AN470 rivets. Since the HS 908L and R brackets are non-Alclad and not powder coated, I primed them with non-etching aluminum primer lightly before and normally after riveting them into place.
