Brief Description: Final Assembly of Right Aileron
The Trailing Edge was Back-Riveted and the Skin End Rib rivets were set. The Inboard and Outboard Attach Brackets were drilled and bolted in place. Working on both Ailerons, the Attach Bracket Bolts and Nuts were torqued to 25 inch-pounds and Crosscheck Torque Seal was applied. Torque Seal will crack if there is any movement of the nut and bolt, giving a good indication of a loosening problem during inspection, Major shop clean-up today.
