Brief Description: ProSeal and Rivet the Left Tank Baffle
The mating surfaces of the Left Tank->Baffle were re-cleaned in prep for the ProSeal. One last check of the internal connections and orientation of the Attach Brackets. The inside of the L Tank Skin was masked with tape to keep things neat when applying the Goo. With all tools, rivets, clamps and clecos laid out, I was ready for ProSeal. I calculated the need for about 70cc of ProSeal, a much larger batch than I've made before. I loaded up a large 100cc syringe with about 80cc of the vile goo -- hopefully enabling me to apply that 3/16" bead below the rivet line. The syringe worked very well. I applied the ProSeal and riveted everything together. From mixing to finishing the rivets took about 2 1/4 hours. God I hope this thing doesn't leak. I'll test it with air pressure in two or three days. I'm adding another 7/4/19 entry because I have another picture... MyKitLog only allows 3 pics per entry.
