Brief Description:  Stringers

I built a fuselage rotissory using 2x4's bolted to the front of the fuselage. The tail is suspended from the garage ceiling by a rope. Now I can rotate the fuselage by myself. This beats working at odd angles for long periods of time. The stringers are .032 aluminum. On some kits there are two standoffs on the bottom of the fuselage that are too short. The way they are the fabric will come in contact with one of the control pulley brackets. AviPro will send replacement standoffs and you just cut off the old standoff and epoxy the new standoffs over the old ones. At the suggestion of a friend and RV builder I went with a different repair. Using some .032 sheet aluminum and a small scrap piece of stringer material I made a saddle for the stringer to sit in. In picture #3 you can see it. It will be pop riveted together after priming.
