The flap and aileron are fitted. The operation is smooth as silk. I'm pleased with how they turned out. Today I made the permanent installation of the flap and aileron hinge bearings into the tubes. At the suggestion of Bearhawk builder Eric Newton (www.mybearhawk.com) I'm using Permatex high strength sleeve retainer in addition to the bolts. Actually Eric suggested Loctite but after an exhaustive search Permatex was the one I found. This stuff is very expensive. This bottle was $34. It will make the bearing tubes water and air tight and prevent corrosion inside the tube. It also acts as a super adhesive. Holding power is 3000 psi. That along with the two bolts and those bearings aren't going anywhere.
