The flap is on and temporarily secured in place. This is a critical step. There are several areas for adjustment and the final installation will determine how well the airplane flies so I took great care measuring and adjusting to make sure the flap came out as close to perfect as possible. I'm pleased with the results. The pop rivet you see in the second picture is misleading. I drilled a #47 hole through the hinge bearing and tube and I'm just using the stem from the pop rivet to hold the bearing in the tube in the location I want it. The tube will be removed from the wing and drilled out to a larger size and the proper size bolt along with Loctite will be used to secure the bearing. I got started on the aileron but still have some to do on it.
