Brief Description: Inspection plates / fuel tank access cover
I finished the inspection plates for now. There are a few rivets on two of the support rings that I couldn't get to with my squeezer so they will have to be driven with the rivet gun. That will have to be done when the wing is turned back over. I could just buy a 1 1/2" yoke but I'm not sure I'll need it for anything else so I hate to buy a yoke for just a few rivets. I started on the fuel tank access cover. There's approximately 90 nutplates that have to be installed for each cover and the screw and rivet holes have to be countersunk. A microstop countersink tool is one of the neatest tools. I don't know how you could do this job without one.
