Okay .. so I started putting it on the firewall and it just wasn't going to work. Would be too hard to get battery in and out. So ... I took one end off and used hinges on it so the battery could be slid in easily. I also used a piece of angle on the inside of the firewall to help support the battery. So I'm happy with how it turned out.
