First I finished up all the bolts and nuts on the bottom skin that I rivetted yesterday. Then .. since I needed to turn around the fuselage I went ahead and mounted the motor mount. I made some .060 shims and used those and it came out good. I just bolted it on temporarily since I need to make the hole for the steering linkage in the firewall before I mount it permanently. Next I needed to flip the plane around so there's more room for the wings when I get them built. It keeps getting heavier as I put stuff on it .. so now's the time. The trick was doing it alone. I came up with using the engine lift since it has wheels. The tail is light and easy to pick up.
