This morning I worked on some polishing. Pulled all the inspection covers.This afternoon the DAR came for the A/W inspection. I now have the certificate. He said it was the cleanest Sonex build he'd seen. Nice to get a compliment too. It's been a lot of hard work .. I built the engine the first part of last June. Then I got the airframe kit and started building on 6/24/12. I've worked from early morning every day except a couple weekends a month with my fiance. I still have a little cosmetic work and painting to do on the cowling and tips at some point. Now I just need a BFR so I can go fly it.
