More misc things today .. some more work on the cowl. Made some adjustments in the baffle seals on top to keep the air into the cylinders. I fabricated and installed a door over the fuel fill neck. I pulled the plane out to take the pics of 3 views for the FAA paperwork. I did some more taxi testing. I got right up to liftoff speed. Temperatures and oil pressure all normal. Plane tracks very straight .. no surprises at all. Ground handling is very much like my previous Sonex. I had good elevator effectiveness .. I was able to lift the nose off and pretty much hold it there as long as I wanted. It sure helps that I owned and flew one of these before for a couple years and have a point of comparison.
