First off .. after a little painting of the area .. I mounted the shelf I made yesterday. The ELT and strobe controller will be on it. I mounted the strobe controller. I then worked on some wiring, including hooking up the power and ground to the strobe controller. I also ran the cables for the wing tip nav/strobe heads and ran the cable for the transponder antenna. It'll be under the seat on the bottom of the plane. Yesterday a friend and I used a handheld to test the comm radio .. it sounded good .. but that was just for a short distance. I have an ACK E-04 coming .. should be here tomorrow. Then I'll get that mounted on the shelf.
