Today I decided to tackle the wheel alignment on the main gear. Since I'm using Tracy O'Brien axels for my disk brakes .. I had to do it different than the plans. I made a couple 12 inch brackets to use. First I releveled the fuselage. Then I clamped the brackets on each axel torque plate and leveled them. First I got them so they were exactly the same measurement at the front and back between the brackets (parallel). Then I also measured to a couple marks on the edge of the fuselage on both sides to make sure they were square. I then started tweeking until I got it where I wanted it. After each change I releveled the brackets and measured to the sides of the fuselage to be sure both sides were the same. I ended up with everything spot on with the toe in I needed, the same measurements on both sides to the fuselage .. and the same measurement from the tips of the axels to the floor. I then started moving to a different hangar with a little more room (end one with an extra room in it). So that'll take up a few days and I'll pick up building when I get organized in the other hangar.
