First I installed the control rod boot I ordered. I elected not to make one, but to buy a fireproof pedal boot from Jeg's that's made by a racecar safety equipment company. Looks better than anything I'd make. Then I worked on changing a couple brackets on my brake pedal setup. The others were just too close together and I feared interference between the pedals if either rudder bar slid to the side.
