Today I worked on the upper firewall assembly. This seemed to take a long time. I ran into problems with the CCC-42 rivets breaking off high when putting on the fuel box. Need to figure that out before I do the windshield strap. I also doubt I'll use the Southco's. On my other Sonex I couldn't keep them from popping open and ended up replacing them with nut plates on the cowling.
