I started by finishing putting the clips on the top channel for the turtledeck. Then I drilled and cleco'd the two turtedeck skins to the channel. I then took it apart and deburred the pieces and sprayed the contact surfaces with zinc chromate. I rivetted it all back together. I marked the sides with 1 inch marks for overlap on the sides. Then I put the whole assembly on the airplane .. a bit of a trick with just me but I got it done. First I drilled and cleco'd the left side ... then the right. Then I fitted the #5 former in the back. Good thing I'm slender so I could get up inside the fuselage at the very back. I started fitting together the #1 former ... I'll finish that tomorrow.
