Cleaned up the suspect areas on the block. Set the crank back into the block. Installed the cam. I put the other case half on again and everything worked very smooth with no interference anywhere. Next I fit the flywheel on to check the end play. It was a bear to get to fit right and wouldn't go down all the way. Finally with a little tweeking I got it to fit right.
