Yesterday and today I have been scrubbing ribs, acid etching and priming. Yesterday I finished all of the centre ribs and flap, nose and aileron ribs. Today I have scrubbed all the flap and aileron nose and pocket ribs, as well as the 2 tip ribs. They have just been acid etched and will be painted when they dry.
Had an issue yesterday with a 30 second outbreak of drizzle. Some of it strayed onto my wet centre ribs. It ruined the finish. So this morning I also scrubbed the 6 ribs on the effected side and re-washed them. I will repaint them when I do today's batch of ribs.
