There has been a bit of a break over the summer, but finally got another good session in today and a few days in the last week. There have been a few short sessions in the last few months - all the rivet holes in the wing skeleton have been deburred and dimpled.
The skins needed to get the inspection panels attached. Today I used a hot knife to cut away some of the plastic from the holes in the wing skins. These areas were acid etched and primed after deburring and dimpling the holes.
I also prepped and painted all the support rings and hole covers.
Nutplates were installed on the support rings and the rings then riveted to the skins. I completed the first 2 this afternoon. 4 to go.
