I have built a jig to do both wings simultaneously. Given that my ceiling is drywall/gib, i had to do some headscratching on how to secure the vertical posts. I have settled on a piece of MDF with a cutout for the top of the post. The MDF has subsequently been bolted to the ceiling with butterfly-type screws. So far it seems very robust.
