So I'm building a Bearhawk. The desire to build an aircraft has been ever present, but the discovery of the Bearhawk and subsequent planning has been almost a year in the making now. The plans arrived about 6 months ago and tool acquisition has been moving along steadily.
But this entry is the first because we finally have the go-ahead from the relevant authorities and financial types for the construction of a garage which will be the birth place of the first pieces of a new Bearhawk. The excitement is hard to contain, but I will try to remain level headed and stay on track!
For any friends or family that discover this construction log, please don't expect aeroplane-shaped pieces in the image gallery anytime soon! This will be some time down the line but you'll no doubt hear about my progress and inevitable frustrations in detail through these pages in the years to follow.
