Brief Description:  Nose Fairing

Today I hogged out some more material to clear the tires.I used the 3/8" threader rod to align the bracket in the front wheel pant. I then fit the 4 brackets to the front wheel assembly. I slid the rear/front part of the pants over the brackets, and dilled pilot holes through the pants to the underlying brackets. I disassembled everything, drilled the brackets, and fitted each with platenuts. I then aligned the pants and finished the final drilling. The pants are aligned properly and very secure. I chose to use platenuts instead of the rivets, for easier removal. Got to think ahead. Yesterday I ordered the upper nose intersection fairing from Fairings-Etc.com (better product). The upper and lower intersection fittings for the main pants, were ordered from Van's (much less expensive).
