Well, the upper fuselage is finally painted. Turned out quite decent. The Mitsubishi Silver Mist has pearl and metallic, making it much harder to apply evenly. Got a beautiful clearcoat sheen to it, however, there is some mottling that can be seen indoors. Don't know about outdoors yet. All in all, it turned out very nice. I decided to do the upper fuselage light to keep the cabin and engine cooler on those bright sunny days. The control surfaces are Chrysler Red Rock metallic-pearl that should keep the frost and ice at bay a little easier. The dark bottom and light top should also improve visiblity both from the ground looking up and the air looking down The aircraft ID marks will be in the Red Rock colour as well..
