Both elevators were wet sanded (600 grit), reprimed as needed, washed and dried. 3 coats of DuPont basecoat, and 3 coats of DuPont clearcoat. Shines like it is still wet. Really turned out good. Glad I started on the empennage 1st. Getting better each part I paint. Much better finish with a medium pattern and reduced fluid flow. Much finer finish without any noticeable orange peel.
