I worked on the prop controller. Made new connections on the control plug. Worked well...until I tipped the panel in place. Same error as Friday. More figuring to do I guess. Pulled the plugs and cleaned them. Removed the crank position sensor. Installed a pressure guage on the fuel rail. Should have 28-30 psi with the engine off...showed 70 psi with main pump and 75 psi with pump 2. Removed fuel pressure regulator and drilled a bypass hole in it. Pressure now 38 psi. Tomorrow I will open it up a couple of .001 to get it down to the 30 psi range. Soon it will be replaced with a 25-70 psi adjustable regulator...as soon as it arrives. This will have to do for now, while I am trying to get the engine leaned out a bit to get rid of the misfiring.
