George and I fired her up just after 7 am. We did a total of 2.1 hours with 1.8 hrs in the air. I used the constant speed function, and it worked incredibly. Temps were fantastic...oil 162F, water 189F, gearbox 147F. The highest temp was during a power climb. Water 208F, oil 171F, gearbox 155F. Best rate of climb so far was at 80 knots getting 1050 fpm. Glide of 80 knots was at 880 fpm. Did most of the air work at 5800'. 1st landing was okay..... 2nd one I greased. 105 knots true, engine 3600 @ 4.5 gph. Total fuel for the 2.1 hours was 9.5 gal. Did some stalls. Clean 51 knots, full flaps 46 knots. Then we did some pleasure touring, not too far from the airport. More testing next time.
