Purchased Zenith CH601HD kit SN# 6-8289 from EAA chapter 309 in Charlotte, NC. (http://www.309.eaachapter.org/) for $6100.00. The kit was originally purchased in 1985. Picked up the aircraft on December 17, 2013 and trailered it home to 3221 Bright Star Cv., Bartlett, TN. The engine installed is VW based and will be removed and replaced with a 120hp Corvair built to William Wynne specifications per the build manual 9384.
