Today I got my ELT 406 installed. I bought a Kannad 406 AF from Avion-tech. (www.avion-tech.ca) This company is based in Lachute airport not far away from the BushCaddy factory. Serge Lagueux, the president wich is also an aeronautic maintenance engineer came to my place and have a look at my electrical installation. Everything was OK except for a few ground connection that I have to position at a different place.
I installed my ELT behind the cargo area. The tray is bolted on two 3/4 inch alu angle, fixed on the structural bulkhead. Also installed the antenna and the remote control switch on the instrument panel.
