This morning, I removed the right tank from the wing and make some test on it. It leaks on the aft upper seam. Because the top of the tank was not perfectly the same shape than the wing, I had to force a little bit when I installed it and put the screws in place. It'll probably induce some stress on the sealant and make it leaks.
I then decided to remove the left one to do the same test,,,,,,,,more leaks.
I decided to bring my tanks at the BushCaddy factory, wich is on the same airport, and show that to Tony. We decided to put some ''fuel tank sealant'' inside the tank and have it runs all around the upper seam. After a curing time of 24h, it will apply some PRC stuff on the outside to really make a good job. I should get the tanks back in two days and then wait another 3 or 4 days before testing them with fuel.
