Brief Description:  C-GKYM in the air

July 28th is a date to remember for me. The caddy flew for the first time.

I didn't flew a taildragger for the past 10 years or so, for that reason, I needed some teaching to get the skills back.
Jean-Francois Blanchet from Avitas flight school ( http://www.ecoleavitas.ca/en/ ) will be my instructor for the first flights.
At 11.00 we align the plane on runway 10, Full power and it took off the ground almost instantly. We flew down the runway to the end and landed. We did that twice to check the handling and it seem perfect. After that, we decided to park on the side and check the engine for any leaks or sign of defect. Everything seems OK, so it was a GO for the first real take off.
We were suppose to do only one circuit but once in the air we decided to go west of the airport and play with it.
All the temps and other data were normal and the plane flies very well. I landed the aircraft like a pro and let me tell you,,,,I was the happyest guy in the world.

Unfortunatly, no pictures or videos were taken from the ground but I had my video camera onboard and I will be posting some material soon.
