Brief Description:  Horizontal stabilizer gap seals

A big task going forward is installing all the gap seals on the edges of most of the flight surfaces. These pre-formed and pre-cut aluminum sheets are riveted in place into the fabric covered aluminum frames. Should be a snap... but I decided to get re-acquainted with all my tools and methods by starting with the easiest ones, those that fill in the gaps between the horizontal stabilizers and the vertical stabilizer. My son, Sebastian, got his first chance to pop some rivets.
The manual is confusing as to whether these gap seals should be installed with the horizontal stabilizers mounted on the plane or on a work bench. I did it on the plane and suffered somewhat with access to the bottom surfaces for the drilling and riveting.
There is still a fair size gap between the horizontal and the vertical even with the rubber filler strip that is supposed to be installed there. I left that strip out for now anyway until I figure out the painting later on.
