Read the manual. That said, this has gone smoothly and quickly. Did I mention read the manual. I'm getting used to thinking of it as just a reference.
As mentioned parts quality is great. Everything is well cut. While you could probably just find the parts and have a perfectly good plane, but I suspect that filing, de-burring holes and sanding will be even better. And no sharp edges.
