Reamed lift bushings in lift truss slightly ( about 0.010 inch) and polished the resulting internal surfaces. Made a simple polishing tool (slit some tubing to accept 180 grit emery cloth) to open up the bushings. Managed to get the left wing to engage properly, although it is still too snug. I suspect a small lift pin center-to-center distance issue.
Opened up the right wing lift bushings. Individually, the pins will now fit but the pin center-to-center mismatch prevents making up the wing to the fuselage.
Played with (right wing) airbrake panel and determined the appropriate length to cut the in-wing push rod to make it all work. Trimmed the airbrake panel to elminate interference with the inboard bellcrank.
