5-minute epoxied an alignment plate to the horizontal stab T-plate (to accomodate the off-position center captive nut in the horizontal stab spar) and dropped it off at the machine shop for fabrication of a new T-plate.
Airbrakes: Verified that, when cut appropriately and with an 8mm rod end installed in pushrod, about 4-1/2 inches of panel extension could be achieved. Paul Yarnell's problem was that his in-fuselage control input arm on the airbrake torque tube did not include a "bend" to avoid interference with the lift truss -- mine has the required bend! Grahame Player's airbrake torque tube also had to be modified, and strengthened. I will add a strap reinforcement to my airbrake control torque tube input arm.
