Brief Description: Final fit up and first sealant session
Riveted the end rib access hatches. Preped and had my first sealant session. Used a scotchbrite wheel to rough up the mating surfaces. Soaked all the rivets in MEK. Used rivet tape to hold the rivets in place. Masked the areas that I want to keep free of the sealant. Back riveted the tank stiffeners in place. Squeezed the rivets for the drain fitting. Spent an hour cleaning the mess. The session went well. I used my pneumatic sealant gun, works nice!
