Brief Description: Tear down donor bike and bore bushings
Tore down the donor bike and will be using the fork tubes for the 1.125" dia 6" long tube I needed. Have a stack of tires and lots of 1" dia tubing that will come in handy making some other things.
Noticed some play in the rear swing bushings. Trammed them in the lathe and found them out of round .003. Setup a boring bar in my machinists vice and clamped it down to the cross slide on blocks to get it close to center. Bored them out till fully cleaned up. Now I have to make a new shaft to tighten it all back up.
