Brief Description: Change angle on Fork, more trail
Made a layout setup using the mill bed as a surface plate. Set vee block at 8 degrees and used a surface gage scriber to mark both lines.
Once the layout was right, cut the angle line then the straight line. Grind to the lines with fibre wheel. Left about .75" of material on the narrow end of the wedge to bend it then welded it up.
The welding was tack, check, tack, check . . . with a little bit of adjusting between tacks.
Also made new hole for the steering link on the bar end, closer to the pivot to slow down the steering action.
