Spent most of the day making the front template. The plywood was too heavy as one piece so I cut it in half and worked it that way. Once the canopy shape was on the two pieces I re joined them with a firing strip.
Cutting the template in half made it much eaiser to hold and draw the lines on. Several band saw cuts and it was net surface. Then marking a center line on the canopy and transfering that to each template, also marked the tube end location on the template.
Trim the center lines on the template and screw them to the furring strip.
Measure across fuselage at the tube end location and position the template, add the thickness for the canopy and set the dimension and screw the outer template to the furing strip.
