Cut 1/2" hole and dowled circle to center of fixture. Slowly, while holding the plate down with my hand, tapped with rubber then plastic hammer and rotated disk to turn the flange down. Used one of the station buck ribs as a backup for the hammer. When the flange was turned down it needed shrinking to flatten the disk back out.
