Without the skin in place the instruments and panel droop. I want to be able to screw the panel in place so the center 4 screws come up from the bottom into U-Nuts in the center brace thayt runs back from the firewall.
Transfered the pilot holes into 5 L-Angles to act as the skin for and aft. Placed two cross braces each side to resemble the skin. It tightens the whole instrument panel right up and gives me room to work.
Had to shorten up the two center screws to clear the switches for lights.
