Brief Description: Begin joining front floor and side skins
Before making the verticle curved stiffner I must joint the floor/side skins together.
Layout the floor rivet line behind the heel plate starting at 355mm back from upper engine mount/firewall point to the forward spar upright. Pilot drilled with 1/16" after center punching, only pentatrated floor skin.
Opened 1/16" to 3/32", floor skin only, only drilled forward of the first 6 holes from the spar uprights to avoid outer skin.
Held 2 x 4 in one hand and grabbed the rail underneath, squeezed the skins together and drilled a couple pilot holes. Clecoed and repeat process till all holes were filled, did the rear 6 holes last. Did both right and left sides.
