Brief Description: Setup and machine holes in points plate
The setup is for the point pivot location, hold down screw, and adjustment slot. I have transfer punched the centers on one side and will rotate the table 180 from each location for the other set of points.
Locate turn table center. Lock the carriage and zero cross slide.
Setup distributor in vee block on same center, pick up ID of distributor bushing. Only move cross slide and rotary table to pick up transfered center of each hole. Note degrees of rotation, put in that one hole, rotate table 180 degrees, put in other hole, repete process.
Finish center hole, open to .75.
The point pivot holes are .093 right now so I can press in the recess.
