Fuel primer parts from Aircraft Spruce purchased in November 2017
12v solenoid valve, 1 pc ACS 05-04368 Discharge nipple, 2 pcs ACS AN4022-1 SS Union Cone, 2 pcs ACS AN800-2C Brass Union Nut, 2 pcs ACS AN805-2
The rest of the hardware was purchased locally at the hardware store, 1/8” copper line and tees and Ferrule fittings.
1/8 SS Coupling 2 pcs 10' 1/8 Copper Tube 1 pc 1/8 comp x 1/8 MIP Adaptor 1/8 Brass 90 deg str ELL 1/8/ Compression TEE
The cone fittings are silver sodered to the10' lines.
Prepare the intake manifold: A hole was made right where the center of straight head pipe intersects the bend for the 1/8 SS Coupling. The Coupling was placed in the hole and marked for trimming before welding. (want to keep the inside as smooth possible as the air mixture comes arounf the bend in the intake manifold.
Modify the fuel delivery system: Purchase 100199ERL and 991101ERL for adding the Soleniod to the system. Assemble and test fit Soleniod with all fittings attached. Make bracket to support the weight of the Soleniod.
Install manifold and route copper tubing making two bends for vibration. Trim left and right tubes to the same length at the TEE. Route TEE line to the Soleniod agaain adding the two bends for anti vibration.
