Called FlyCorvair.Com and talked to Gus to find out exactly where to look before getting into the tear down. It's a 110 RH case so that's a good start.
Pick it out of the van and teard down to get a look at the crank. Got an 8409 on the crank and the piston skirts appear pretty clean and free of scuff marks.
