Brief Description: Prep LE skin for Top Surface Trim and rivet holes
Remove LE skin and score trim line and mark rivet lines.
Image 2 shows the 6" wide straight edge I use for long cuts. It is the millcut edge of a full sheet.
The rivet line is extended square to the cut line before breaking off the trim edge. Remove the straight edge and extend the line 4mm beyond the cut line. Break away the scrap and file, sand, and red scotchbrite the edge. Use large square and extend the rivet lines for the 8 rivet holes in each nose rib. Layout the first hole 46mm from trimmed edge, layout the rest with 40mm spacing. Centerpunch, drill 1/16", drill 3/32 for silver clecoes. Layout 10mm and 20mm lines the entire length of the long edge, to be used to line up the main spar rivet line.
