To get the tank in place with three layers of the corp strip on each ned it was necessary to remove the rivets from the bottom leading edge skin ans spring the nose ribs away from the tank. Used strips of aluminum from the scrap bin that already had holes in em to hold the nose ribs out of the way while I eased the tank into position.
Once having confirmed that that would work, finished adding the cork to the nose ribs.
