I won't be using the plastic tip for the front of the wing tip, Going to use a flat plate with a bubble in it to hold the aero flash unit at the right orentation. Just need to establish a flat plane on the end.
Image 1) To establish a flat plane use a straight angle, I had one 2" x 1.5" x .125" x 6' long, and clamp it to the front and rear spar tip L angles. Set the point of the angle in the center of the LE radius.
Image 2 & 3) The point of the angle at the rear is at the center of the aileron trailing edge while it is in the neutral position.
