Brief Description: Attach Hinge on Wing Locker Door
Started by deburring the .025 & .032 shims then marked a center line on them. Layed out the door rivet line on the hinge and pilot drilled it. Lined up the .032 shim rivet line through the hinge holes and back drilled the shim. Did the same with the .025 shim and clecoed the 3 peices together. Used a body float to file all the edges together. Next it was back drill the door after centering the hinge. Let the door butt right up against the hinge and back drilled and silver clecoed the hinge to the door. Put the tack rivets back in to line everything up and back drilled the hinge to the wing spar cap angle. Sandwiched the hinge between the wing skin and the spar cap angle to drill then moved the hinge to the bottom of the spar cap.
Image 2) Adding the L angles to the door. Rough trimmed the opening hole so the L angles on the door would clear the hole. Cleaned the surface of the wing to layout the final trim line.
