Brief Description: Fit DYNON AOA Tube in Lower Wing
Time to cut the hole in the lower wing skin for the pitot tube. It came out OK after I welded it, just a little shorter, 4" rather than 6"
In making the hole first open to the original template layout, then position the AOA Pitot in the hole and trace the outline when in good position. Test fit and slowly open the hole till the tube stand off just fits in.
Lift the skin and place the tube and plate inside, cleco everything back down and see how it all fits. I might need to add a brace to adjust the tube angle of attack, but that will wait for test flying.
