Brief Description: Fabricate Pitot Attachment 4 of 4
Did a rough layout and called my mentor about thickness and strength of the weldment. Using .032 for the tube and plate should be plenty strong enough.
Image 3) I traced the pitot base on to acetate, filed it to the line and test fit, then offset the line in the acetate .032 with dividers to compensate for the metal thickness. I also filed to that line to make the template as accurate as I could. Transfered that hole to the center of the mounting plate. Ready to head to the weld shop.
